Twenty-one area athletes were named to the Kansas Basketball Coaches Association’s All-State basketball teams released Tuesday afternoon.
In Class 3A, Council Grove’s Brycen Palmquist is a second team selection while Osage City’s Kasen Parsons is a third team selection. On the girls side, Osage City’s Kaelyn Boss is a first team selection. Osage City’s Emory Speece is a third team pick.
In Class 2A, Chase County’s Wyatt Griffin is a third team selection. On the girls side, Chase County’s Madelyn Wilson is a first team selection. Lyndon’s Allie Kneisler is a third team pick.
In Class 1A-Division I, Olpe’s Brecken McGuire and Burlingame’s Drake Skirvin are first team selections. Olpe’s Dexton Hoelting is a second team selection. Burlingame’s Dane Winters and Madison’s Colton Isch are honorable mention selections. On the girls side, Madison’s Jalynn Weakley is a first team selection. Olpe’s Lily Skalsky is an honorable mention pick.
In Class 1A-Division II, Lebo’s Zach Oswald is a first team selection. Hartford’s Coy Wilkinson is a third team selection. On the girls side, Lebo’s Saige Hadley is a first team selection. Lebo’s Siara Crouch and Marais des Cygnes Valley’s Akyra Traver are second team selections. Hartford’s Lauryn Finnerty and Waverly’s Josie Romig are honorable mention picks.
