Lyon County Commissioners had a brief action meeting Thursday morning.
During their action session, commissioners approved a pair of quotes from Lyon County Engineer Chip Woods the first from Foley Equipment for a used 2017 Caterpillar motor grader and a 2005 Caterpillar 12H grader totaling more than $192,000. The second quote came from Frank Black Pipe and Supply for approximately 2,750 feet of used 12-inch casing totaling $44,000.
Commissioners then turned their attention to a pair of matters from Lyon County Emergency Communications Center Director Roxanne Van Gundy, starting with the signing of a proclamation recognizing National Public Safety Telecommunicator Week, April 13th through the 19th. Van Gundy then submitted a request to pay a five-year warranty for the 800 MHz radio systems and Eventide logger to Motorola for more than $141,800.
Both requests were approved unanimously. Commissioners also held one executive session for non-elected personnel matters with no action taken.
The Lyon County Commission will next convene at 9 am Thursday for their regular action meeting inside of the Lyon County Courthouse Commission Chambers.
