The Emporia High boys tennis team finished seventh in its final home invitational of the regular season on Tuesday. Brecken Hines finished in 12th place as he fell to Manhattan’s Greyson Hater, 8-5, in the 11th place match. Tegan Mitchell finished 13th, defeating Liberal’s Miguel Ovalle, 8-6, in the 13th place match. In doubles, Micah Mischke and Ricky Macias defeated teammates Brock Malone and Aiden Sanchez, 8-4, in the 13th place match. Emporia High will travel to Junction City for the Centennial League Tournament on Monday.
