Formal charges are pending at last word against a Missouri woman following a traffic stop in Osage County Monday afternoon.
According to Osage County Sheriff Chris Wells. a deputy conducted a traffic stop at milepost 158 on Interstate 35 for an alleged traffic violation just before 2:10 pm. During the stop, the deputy supposedly located illegal drugs in the vehicle driven by 31-year-old Malaysia Brown of St. Louis.
Brown was taken into custody on suspicion of possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, criminal possession of a weapon by a felon and driving with a revoked license. Brown is currently being held at the Osage County Jail.
Formal charges have not yet been announced.
