Jury trial dates have been announced in a Lyon County drug distribution case.
Tentative trial start dates of June 23, July 28 or Aug. 4 were recently set in the case against Clifford Vanderzanden. A status hearing is coming June 18.
Vanderzanden stands accused of distributing up to 100 grams of methamphetamine, as well as possessing marijuana and paraphernalia, as part of an alleged incident in late November 2024. He is also accused of criminal trespass.
A separate drug distribution case working through Lyon County was dismissed last week.
Steven Horton had been charged with distributing up to 100 grams of meth, as well as possessing paraphernalia and a list of driving offenses, after an alleged incident in late January. However, prosecutors moved to dismiss the case and Judge Laura Miser granted that request this past Friday.
