Members of the Kansas Department of Commerce International Division are coming to Emporia to host the Kansas Exporters Roundtable on Wednesday.
The Emporia Area Chamber of Commerce is partnering with the Department of Commerce to host the event, which is part of state work to bring small- and medium-sized businesses, especially those looking to develop a global presence, together with resources and tools. Wednesday’s event features presentations and/or information from the Kansas Department of Commerce, US Commercial Service and Small Business Administration, with information including but not limited to how exporting can bolster revenue, programs on export financing and assistance, export successes and “lessons learned.”
The Kansas Exporters Roundtable is from 11:30 am to 1 pm Wednesday at the Trusler Business Center and comes at a time when business policy, notably tariffs, is front-and-center worldwide. All interested businesses, entrepreneurs and organizations in and around Lyon County are encouraged to attend.
Registration is encouraged. Click here for the link.
The event is part of the Chamber’s monthly Luncheon Series.
