The Emporia High girls soccer team fell 8-0 at Washburn Rural on Tuesday. Washburn Rural scored seven goals in the first half and scored its eighth goal in the 48th minute for the mercy rule victory. Emporia High (7-6) hosts Augusta at 6:15 p.m. Friday.
