Ten members of the Emporia State Track & Field teams won All-Region honors from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association this week. On the men’s side, Emmanuel Dukpe led the way with All-Region honors in the men’s 400m dash and the 4x400m relay. Also All-Region on the relay team were Bryson Turner, Israel Domeh, and Braden Lipgens. Kole Manley and Brooks Lowe were All-Region in the javelin while Ty Anderson earned an All-Region nod in the 100m dash. Jonah Remsburg is an All-Region decathlete while Max Neely notched the honor in the pole vault. Abigael Reid was the only Lady Hornet to earn the distinction doing so in the women’s 400m hurdles. All ten honorees will be in action at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships next weekend.
