Six Emporia State Hornet track & field athletes competed on the final day of the season on Saturday, May 24 at the 2025 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships at the CSUP ThunderBowl in Pueblo, Colo. Ty Anderson made the final in the 100m dash and finished seventh in 10.14 seconds. The top three all ran sub-10 second times. Emmanuel Dukpe placed eighth in the 400m dash with a time of 46.86 and is the best finish for E-State in the event since 2019. He was then joined on the 4x400m relay by Bryson Turner, Israel Domeh, and Braden Lipgens to finish eighth in the finals. All six Hornets earn First Team All-American status by virtue of their top eight finish. Pittsburg State claimed its fourth-straight national title Saturday with a 55-point margin over Harding. The Gorillas’ bid for a second-straight men’s & women’s sweep was denied as Grand Valley State claimed the women’s title by a point over Adams State with PSU finishing third. Missouri Southern finished in the top ten in both the men’s and women’s final standings.
