Two Lyndon men have been arrested on suspicion of drug and weapons violations.
Osage County Sheriff Chris Wells says a deputy handled a traffic stop on Interstate 35 about 30 miles northeast of Emporia late Tuesday night, reportedly finding narcotics and a weapon during a resulting search.
The deputy arrested 38-year-old Jon B Reed on suspicion of possessing methamphetamine and paraphernalia, as well as several traffic offenses. Also arrested was 44-year-old Seth Landie on suspicion of being a felon possessing a weapon.
Formal charges are pending against both men.
