An alleged law enforcement pursuit took place in in Greenwood County early Sunday, with a Galena man hospitalized afterward.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says troopers were pursuing an allegedly stolen vehicle driven by 32-year-pld Joshua M Walker as it was traveling southbound on HH Road, about five miles east of Fall River in southern Greenwood County. Southbound HH ends at 1600 Road, and Walker apparently failed to stop. The SUV continued south, hitting a tree and metal rail before stopping shortly after 12:45 am.
Walker was taken to Fredonia Regional Hospital with suspected minor injuries, then jailed after his discharge. Formal charges are pending.
