Recent Emporia High graduate Nolan Jacob received All-State recognition from the Kansas Golf Coaches Association on Friday. Jacob is a second-team All-5A pick after finishing in a tie for sixth at the Class 5A State Golf Championships at Emporia Golf Course in May. Jacob was in 23rd after day one of the tournament and moved his way up the leaderboard on day two with a 3-under 68 to finish in the top 10.
