Relief efforts are underway to help the family who lost their home and all their possessions in a north Lyon County fire last week.
Fire severely damaged the home of Rosa Gunter and her two children at 119 West Fifth in Admire this past Thursday. Thankfully, nobody was home, but two pets died.
Along with initial help through the Red Cross, there is a GoFundMe page currently active to raise funds for Gunter and her family. Click here for the link.
Also, numerous items are currently being sought:
*Girls size 16 clothing, size 4 shoes
*Boys size 20 husky clothing, size 4 shoes
*Women’s size XL shirts, size 16 pants, size 9 shoes
Household needs have not been specified, but family members and friends say anything will help. If a replacement mobile home can be found, there is a tentative request for help in moving the structure to the current address.
