Newman Regional Health has a new board-certified general surgeon on staff.
Dyllan Landry, a southeast Kansas native, attended University of Louisiana-Lafayette and Pittsburg State University for his pre-med undergraduate studies before getting his medical doctorate and general surgery residency training from the University of Kansas School of Medicine-Wichita. He has also spent three years at a trauma center in northwest Arkansas.
Landry’s practice at Newman Regional Health will cover all aspects of general surgery, focusing on colon surgery, endoscopy, hernia repair, laparoscopic and robotic surgery, soft tissue and skin surgery and wound care.
Landry and his wife, Megan, an emergency nurse working towards obtaining a pilot’s license, have six children.
