What started as an arrest of an underaged and impaired driver in Wabaunsee County led to deputies arresting two more minors, in part for allegedly urinating on a church and elementary school.
The Wabaunsee County Sheriff’s Office says deputies arrested the allegedly alcohol-impaired underaged driver at Lake Wabaunsee late Thursday night. The passenger was also arrested for having an open container of alcohol.
While those two were being taken to the Wabaunsee County Jail, two more minors were arrested at the Sheriff’s Office for allegedly being intoxicated and urinating on an unspecified church and school. They were also arrested on suspicion of having a fake driver’s license.
Sheriff Eric Kirsch says his plan was to talk with the parents and let them view body camera footage.
