Emporia State women’s basketball coach MJ Baker has signed graduate guard Kaitlyn Sanders for the upcoming 2025-26 season.  The 5-4 Miami, Fla. native previously played for Baker at Eastern Florida State College as a freshman scoring 11 ppg and hitting 36% from the 3-point line.  After playing just one season due to injury in 2022-23, she scored 4.7 ppg in 2023-24 before returning to her junior college form last year averaging 12 ppg while shooting 44% from the 3-point line at NCAA DII Rollins in the Sunshine State Conference.  Sanders had nearly a 2.0 assist-to-turnover ratio while leading the team with 83 assists.
