There is a new property in the Emporia Land Bank’s inventory after the Lyon County tax foreclosure sale Tuesday evening.
The Land Bank purchased a vacant lot at 301 Sunnyslope, adding to properties it owns at 405 Congress, 417 State, 110 South State and 619 Washington. The purchase price has not been announced. The property was listed at just under $2,300.
The Land Bank was created in 2019 to buy vacant properties and help the development process for new homes in town.
