Burlington Northern Santa Fe has adjusted its work plan for track crossing maintenance in Emporia.
Initially, the railroad said it was planning to work on Weaver Street starting Wednesday and continuing through the upcoming weekend. Now it says all its crossing work across town will be limited to two days early next week:

• Cottonwood Street
Monday
• Weaver Street
• Exchange Street
• Union Street
• Merchant Street
• Constitution Street
Crossings at Commercial, Mechanic and Market were originally on the repair list but have been removed.
Previous work in and near Neosho Rapids ended earlier this week. BNSF has not announced schedule changes to crossing maintenance projects at Roads N, P and R. Those are tentatively set to be closed until at least Monday.
