The Kansas Department of Transportation is planning a shutdown of Kansas Highway 31 west of Harveyville later this week.
Weather permitting, KDOT will close access to K-31 at the Miller Road intersection Wednesday. The intersection should be closed during normal business hours so crews can replace a pipe under the road.
KDOT says there will be no posted detours, but drivers will have to use alternate routes during the project.
