The Emporia State women’s soccer team will host eight matches in their 2025 season. The schedule released today includes two August exhibition matches before the season opener at Drury on September 4. The home opener on the ESU Pitch is September 12 against UMary. After a Colorado trip to face RMAC foes Regis and CSU-Pueblo in mid September, the Lady Hornets open up the MIAA season on the road at Newman September 26. ESU plays its first home conference game on October 5 against Fort Hays State. The final home match will be Sunday, November 2 against Northwest Missouri and E-State will meet Washburn in the Turnpike Tussle in Topeka, Kan. on November 5. The MIAA Tournament begins November 9 at campus sites with semifinals in Wichita on November 13. Head coach Jane Grimley-Gunn returns for her second year on the ESU sidelines. The Lady Hornets return 10 players from last year’s team that finished 6-8-3 and tied for eighth in the MIAA with a 4-6-2 conference record.
