A Council Grove man has been arrested for suspected illegal sexual activity with a minor.
Council Grove Police Chief Shawn Wangerin says officers received a report from the Department for Children and Families on July 8 indicating possible sexual abuse. This past Wednesday, officers arrested Logan Callahan. He has since been charged with two counts of indecent liberties involving a child between ages 14-16 at times almost all last year.
Callahan had his first court appearance in Morris County District Court on Thursday and will have a preliminary hearing this upcoming Thursday.
