From start to finish, turnout was strong for the third annual Flint Hills Spirit Fair.
Organizers like Brandy Clarke had a good indication things would be busy even before the event got started.
Clarke says people were drawn to the event for several reasons.
At least 300 people attended the event, which was organized by Flint Hills Paranormal and featured 25 different vendors with features like spiritual consulting, aura and tarot readings, art, crafts, crystals and other items. Clarke says the number of vendors fits both the space at the Lyon County History Center and the ambience, giving attendees a chance to interact and mingle without being spread out or overcrowded.
Flint Hills Paranormal is now planning at least two public events for what Clarke calls the “spooky season” around Halloween. It’s also planning for activities to celebrate its 10th year of operation next year.
