Emporia’s Brazillian Jiu Jitsu Academy brought home a plethora of medals following competition at Fuji Kansas City this weekend.
Competing in their very first competitions were Ferny Isaias, Meche Maley and Maryann Peak. Isaias finished 2nd in gi and was the tournament champion in no gi.
Peak finished 3rd in no gi and 2nd in gi. Maley took 2nd in both gi and no gi.
Taking to the mat for the third time was Tyler Luthi who finished 2nd in gi.
