Plans, reports and updates are ahead for the USD 253 Emporia Board of Education when it meets Wednesday evening.
Board members are set to have second readings on several policies, including emergency operations plan updates, staff handbooks, the athletic and activities handbook and strategic plan measures, with first readings on student handbook changes and board policy updates through the Kansas Association of School Boards. There will also be an executive session for attorney consultation.
The meeting will begin at 6 pm at Mary Herbert Education Center.
