Emporia State University’s first announcement as part of the school’s Year of Celebration is a big win for Hornet fans. The school says it will provide free general admission tickets to all home ESU athletic events for the 2025-26 athletic year. The deal will is for all Hornet and Lady Hornet sports and will include Emporia State’s football schedule which begins Thursday, August 28 at 7 p.m. when the Hornets host Minot State at Welch Stadium. Emporia State is set to host 2025 MIAA Football Media Day on Monday, July 28 beginning at 9:30 a.m inside ESU’s Memorial Union. The event can be seen on The MIAA Network. Emporia State’s comments will be aired as part of The Monday Morning Quarterback around 11:15 a.m on 1400 AM/96.9 FM KVOE.
