If you see wlldlife in areas you don’t think it should be, you now have a new online reporting option.
The Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks is featuring a web page highlighting different animals:
*Mountain lions, with confirmed sightings in Chase, Morris and Wabaunsee counties
*Black bears
*Gray wolves
*Coyotes and red foxes, specifically for Wichita
*Unspecified threatened and endangered species
The page includes information about the different animals and specific ways to report sightings. Wildlife and Parks says the information page and reporting link is “all part of our charge to protect, manage, and improve the state’s wildlife and habitats for current generations and those long into the future.”
