Back to school doesn’t officially happen until later this month areawide, but the Emporia Public Library officially got kids ready for classes with a special event Thursday.
Library Director Pauline Stacchini says this has been a busy summer.
The library organized a Minecraft-themed event for Thursday.
The library is now getting ready for its Find Your Funny comedy showcase event for students in grades 6-12. The event will be 4 pm Aug. 16 at White Auditorium’s Little Theater, with workshops Aug. 12, 14 and 15. More information about library events and activities is online at emporialibrary.org.
