Everything is back to normal at Emporia’s Friendship Center on Friday.
Manager Gwen Burenheide says Friendship Meals will be served as per usual. Also, a commodity giveaway will take place between 9 am and 4 pm.
Operations had to be adjusted Wednesday and Thursday after a water line began leaking in the 10 block of West Logan, less than two blocks away from the facility at 221 West Logan. Underground Utilities crews worked Wednesday and Thursday to make repairs.
