A teenager has been taken to a Topeka hospital after a crash near Harveyville on Friday morning.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says the crash happened just before 7:15 am on Harveyville Road less than half a mile north of Headwater Road, or about four miles north of Harveyville. Troopers say a pickup driven by 14-year-old Lilianna Smallwood of Harveyville was northbound when it went off the road to the right. Smallwood overcorrected, went onto the road and then overcorrected again. The truck left the road and overturned.
Smallwood was taken to Stormont Vail in Topeka with suspected minor injuries. A passenger, 11-year-old Rosie Smallwood of Harveyville, was not hurt.
Initially, there were concerns of more serious injuries. Wabaunsee County Sheriff Eric Kirsch has also said at least one of the children was trapped inside the truck before being extricated.

Wabaunsee County deputies and emergency crews are at the scene of a rollover crash near Harveyville.
Sheriff Eric Kirsch says the wreck happened after 7 am near the intersection of Harveyville Road and Headwaters Road, which is around three miles north of Harveyville. Two people have suffered potentially critical injuries and at least one was trapped afterward. Kirsch says a helicopter evacuation is underway.
Additional details are pending. The Kansas Highway Patrol is now leading the investigation.
