Schmidt’s comments on KVOE’s Friday version of the Morning Show come as diplomatic efforts continue. President Trump met with Russian Premier Vladimir Putin in Alaska earlier this month, while several European leaders have demonstrated their support for Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at a recent White House meeting with President Trump.
