Something good is brewing at the David Traylor Zoo next month.
The annual Zoo Brew: A Night in the Wild is set for Sept. 12, and Director Brenda Young says the event gives patrons a chance to have a special dinner, sample drinks and enjoy music while taking in the sights and sounds of the zoo.
Young says proceeds from the night will support the Oasis capital campaign and the long-sought effort to bring North American river otters to town.
Tickets are available now at efoz.org and the zoo’s Facebook and Instagram platforms.
As planning continues for Zoo Brew, the zoo’s King vulture, Doodle, has been transferred to the zoo in Nashville, Tennessee, while the flock of four emus recently donated to the zoo continues to get acclimated to its new surroundings.
