Parts of Emporia dealt with a power outage late Saturday night into early Sunday.
Evergy reports close to 1,000 customers lost power in west Emporia and nearby areas outside the city limits around 10:30 pm Saturday. An unspecified equipment failure has been listed as the cause.
Power was fully restored around 3:15 am Sunday.
