Two Lyon County roads remain closed after heavy rainfall earlier this week.
Road H is barricaded between Roads 160 and 165, while 160 is closed between G and J is also closed.
Closures were minimal after 1.5-4.5 inches of rain through the Labor Day weekend. The Cottonwood River at Emporia briefly went into flood stage Wednesday.
The rain briefly delayed a Lyon County Highway Department project for a creek crossing on Road G between 160 and 170. Work was supposed to take place Wednesday but was moved to Thursday because that road segment was also underwater. Work could finish Friday, weather permitting.
