Emporia Main Street says a “groundbreaking collaboration to expand entrepreneurial opportunities” will be announced in town Tuesday afternoon.
Main Street Community Development Coordinator Jess Buchholz says Main Street and its Fabrication Lab is welcoming Groover Labs of Wichita as part of a collaboration supported by the Kansas Department of Commerce’s ACCEL-KS grant for a special presentation at 2:30 pm. The goal is to support innovations in rural areas through fabrication labs such as the Main Street facility and other maker spaces. Rural entrepreneurs can be eligible for grants of up to $5,000 so they can develop and produce their ideas.
The presentation will be at the Fab Lab, 727 Commercial.
