Two Osage County residents are in custody on numerous drug-related charges.
According to Osage County Sheriff Chris Wells, Sheriff’s Deputies executed a search warrant on Thursday at 12544 South Topeka Avenue near Carbondale just before 5 pm. As a result of the search, officers arrested 47-year-old Kristina D. Smith and 46-year-old Troy S. Smith, both of Carbondale, on suspicion of the following charges.
- Distribution of methamphetamine
- Distribution of drug paraphernalia
- Distribution of marijuana
- Possession of hallucinogens.
Kristina Smith was also arrested on suspicion of use of a communication facility in the commission of a felony, while Troy Smith was arrested on suspicion of battery on law enforcement and felony obstruction. Both were taken to the Osage County jail with formal charges pending.
