Emporia High School volleyball competed at the Valley Center Tournament on Saturday
The Lady Spartans went 1-3 in the tournament with a 2-1 loss to Kapaun Mt. Carmel, winning the first set 25-22. The Crusaders came back to win the next two sets 25-18 and 25-23.
Emporia fell to Andale 25-21, 25-9 and to 2-1 to Wellington, winning the first set 25-21, before dropping the next two sets 25-12 and 25-22.
The Lady Spartans got past Wichita East 25-9 ,25-23 to end the tournament.
