A robust schedule with activities and performances headline Hartford Harvest Day on Saturday.
It is the 2nd year in a row of hosting the event in its current format, Event Organizer & Spokesperson Nick Bess was a guest on the KVOE Morning Show on Tuesday to discuss the event. He says there will be a full slate of activities all day, but something close to his heart is the Cancer Walk that begins at 8:30 a.m.
Registration will be at 8 a.m. for the 1 mile or 3k walk. Bess says the event has a theme this year that has an agriculture theme that is important to the community and explains what the theme is.
The Hartford Harvest Day parade begins at 10 am, and activities and performances will continue all day into the evening culminating in the street dance at 8 pm while vendor booths will be open from 9 a.m to 3 p.m. For more information on Saturday’s event, visit the Hartford Harvest Day Facebook page.
