Residents and community members are invited to join Healthier Lyon County for an informational social gathering Thursday evening.
Healthier Lyon County will host an ice cream social at Quaker Park from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. In addition to the social, attendees will have an opportunity to fill out a survey regarding their desires for future improvements to the park, which, as KVOE News has reported earlier this year, is set to receive a new 10-foot climbing wall thanks in part to a grant awarded by Evergy.
The event is free to attend. For those unable to attend the social but would still like to provide feedback on the park improvements, you can find the survey on Healthier Lyon County’s social media pages.
