The City of Emporia is announcing some water-related adjustments in different parts of town Tuesday.
A water main break developed Tuesday morning at South Market and East Kansas in the 8 am hour. The scope of water outages near the break site has not been announced.
The water main break announcement followed word of a valve repair project affecting several streets — South Congress, South State and South Neosho, all from Randolph to Kansas; and West Kansas from Congress to Neosho.
Repair times are pending with the planned and unplanned projects.
