A lot of things are happening for Radical Life these days.
The annual Radical Champions fundraiser kicked off Friday morning, with over a dozen individuals and teams seeking to raise at least $1,000 for the cause.
On top of that, Radical Life recently closed on property at the First Friends Church at 528 Sylvan. Agency founder Lindsay Smith says it’s a heady time for Radical Life.
The goal is to have the building ready for operations by early December.
Smith has said it was time to expand and move for a while, thanking Life Church for its willingness to help with space the last few years.
Radical Champions goes into early November, funding Radical Life’s efforts to build life skills and address the impacts of poverty on struggling families. Friday’s KVOE Morning Show interview featured Smith, as well as Radical Champions Jacque and Edie Ambrose and Laura Spencer, discussing their work with Radical Life and their specific fundraising events coming soon.
