The EHS Athlete of the week is Lady Spartans Volleyball Jade Xu. The Emporia State commit has had a great season so far, leading EHS in kills in every match this season while also reaching 1,000 career kills early in September. Xu also led the Lady Spartans to two wins at the Centennial League Tournament on Sept. 4th.
Danny Cain of Burlingame Football is the Area Athlete of the Week after the quarterback threw for over 115 yards passing, but did his damage on the ground running for 140 yards and four touchdowns in a 36-32 win over Lebo on Oct. 3rd.
