In a battle of unbeaten teams on Friday, Lyndon took a 56-6 victory over Madison in our Area Game of the Week.
Lucas Griffin was 17/22 for 319 yards passing and five touchdowns. His top receiver was Josh Vignery for eight receptions and 192 yards, with four scores.
Lyndon held a 14-0 first quarter lead, before taking a 30-0 halftime lead.
Madison would find their lone score of the game, with Brayden Grimmett finding Octavien Dean on a 35 yard touchdown pass with 2:12 remaining in the third.
Griffin and Vignery would connect for two more scores to conclude the game with five minutes remaining.
Lyndon (5-0) will continue district play next week with Yates Center, while Madison(5-1) will play Flinthills.

It was another special night for Chase County star quarterback Wyatt Griffin, as the senior accounted for all 9 touchdowns on the ground and finished with 52 carries and 358 rushing yards.
