The Emporia State cross country teams ran Saturday at the FHSU Tiger Open hosted by Fort Hays State. The Lady Hornets finished sixth out of ten teams finishing behind five nationally ranked Division II and NJCAA teams. Brooklyn Nolte had the best time for ESU finishing 32nd. The Hornet men ran 10th out of 14 teams and were led by Dylan Hunter who placed 55th. The Hornets head into the postseason Saturday, October 25 as Pittsburg State hosts the MIAA Championships.
