Admire was busy Saturday for the Fall Festival at the Flint Hills Event Center.
Festival organizer Kayeloni Davidson was pleased — and relieved — to see the turnout, both from vendors and residents, especially because this was the former Admire School’s first big public event at the renovated space.
Residents could enjoy vendors inside the Event Center and a petting zoo outside. Davidson says nearly 20 vendors were involved. She says the event gave her more ideas for upcoming activities and ways to make those events run smoothly.
Up next for the Event Center is an investigation by Flint Hills Paranormal at 6:30 pm this upcoming Saturday. Residents participating in the investigation are asked to bring a working flashlight and closed-toed shoes.
