Emporia State goalkeeper Mackenzi Goen has been named the MIAA women’s soccer Goalkeeper of the Week. The Lady Hornets pitched two shutouts last week with Goen picking up 10 total saves in the two matches. Goen has three shutouts on the season and is up to 12 in her career in net for ESU. Emporia State (7-3-1, 4-0-1 MIAA) returns home Friday to open a four-game homestand hosting Rogers State on Friday. The Lady Hornets are unbeaten in their last six matches with five victories. Kickoff is set for 2:30 p.m at the ESU Pitch.
