Thunderstorms are possible Friday afternoon and evening. Severe weather can’t be ruled out during the high school football window.
The National Weather Service says there is a slight chance of storms Friday afternoon, with increasing chances of showers and storms or the evening hours. The Storm Prediction Center has a marginal risk areawide for quarter-sized hail and wind gusts up to 60 mph.
Storms likely won’t generate a lot of rainfall. The Weather Service Forecast Points website indicates around 0.25 inches of rain possible with activity Friday night into Saturday.
High temperatures will be in the low 80s Friday along with the rain. Showers are possible Saturday, with highs around 80 degrees. Cooler conditions are ahead Sunday with highs in the mid-60s.
