The Friends of the Library’s annual book sale is adding discounts the next few days.
Residents can take advantage of the overall sale through Wednesday, but the traditional bag sales are now in effect. Monday has bags of books at $10, followed by bags for $5 Tuesday and bags for $2 Wednesday.
Spokesperson Dee Schwinn says there has been a good selection of books and other items.
Schwinn says the regularly-scheduled book sales in the spring and fall have done well. So have so-called flash sales at different times of the year.
The library has also partnered with Flatland Threads for library merchandise like T-shirts, sweatshirts and sweatshirts. Residents can place orders at flatlandthreads.com/efotl.
Proceeds go from the Friends of the Library to the Emporia Public Library for different projects and events.
