CareArc has opened its brand-new on-site pharmacy — to a degree.
CareArc has a soft opening for the new pharmacy Monday. CEO Renee Hively joined KVOE’s Morning Show for an update, saying it will give patients more convenience among other benefits.
Hively also says the new pharmacy will help CareArc “reinvest savings.”
Hively says the pharmacy is currently open only to CareArc’s 340B patients using cash for payments. The pharmacy will open to the general public as it adds credentials with more insurance companies.
CareArc was considering the pharmacy addition for some time before Graves Drugs closed early last year. The closure of Graves prompted CareArc to speed up its construction timeline.
