Renowned jazz singer Janice Borla is hosting dinner and a show in Emporia Friday night.
Borla will be joined by some of her talented friends for a dinner and concert Friday night inside the Emporia Arts Center’s Davis Theatre. During an interview on KVOE’s Morning Show Wednesday, Borla ran through the list of talented musicians who will join her on stage, some of whom have a long history with the renowned vocalist.
Also on stage will be percussionist Juan Pastor and bass player Gerald Spaits. In previewing the event, Borla stated she is very excited for the performance, saying it will have a new “texture” of sound.
The evening will begin with dinner at 5:30 pm, with the main show starting at 7 pm. Tickets are available for $55 per person either at the Emporia Arts Center, 815 Commercial, or by calling 620-343-6473.
