Rain has adjusted several weekend plans for activities.
Along with moving Emporia’s Dia de los Muertos celebration indoors and postponing a special recognition ceremony for two World War II veterans, the rain postponed the Neosho Rapids Haunted House and Hayrack Ride from Saturday to Nov. 1.
Ticket sales will still be $11 and will still go from 6:30-10 pm at the Neosho Rapids Community Building. A canned food donation will make a ticket $10 instead of $11.
Along with the haunted activities, concessions will be available through the Neosho Rapids Elementary PTO. The overall event is organized by the Neosho Rapids Lions Club, Neosho Rapids Parks Committee, Neosho Rapids Projects Committee and Hartford-Neosho Rapids Fire District No. 5.
